My cat vomits a lot, she is 6. She goes outside in am. Should I try to prevent her from going outside to see if vomiting slows down?
You give human probiotic to cat? This is the probiotic several of us use: http://www.amazon.com/Natural-Factors-Acidophilus-Strength-180-Count/dp/B00028P5PU/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1354292476&sr=8-2&keywords=natural+factors+probiotics
Whenever two of my cats eat grass (the kind of grass that I grow indoors specifically for them ), the almost immediately throw it all up . When your girl vomits, do you see grass in it? If not, then I don't think it's eating grass that's causing it.
Now, oddly enough, another of my cats throws up every time I give her the Vets Best Hairball and Digestive Aids tablets with the Slippery Elm in them. This never used to happen, but now it does. I believe theyrecently changed them, and now she can't tolerate them My boys can eat them with no issues, but not my girl. Strange, huh?
Have you tried Slippery Elm Bark syrup? Here's a thread about it and ways to use it that might be helpful: http://www.thecatsite.com/t/257544/slippery-elm-bark-and-grass-eating

Yes. Many of us use this one. We give 1 capsule per day, usually divided into two portions. 1/2 capsule mixed into their food in the morning, and 1/2 capsule in the evening. The capsules pull apart and the powder pours out easily, then the capsule can be put back together again for storage until the evening. You give human probiotic to cat?
