New here to the forums an wanted to introduce ourselves.

Jinx is a fairly new cat we took in as a 'stray' she's far too friendly to actually be a stray though - or at least she had a family once.
She was pregnant when we got her and seems to be doing fairly well - we don't know for sure when she got pregnant so we can't be certain when she's due but I'm thinking she's pretty close! This will be my first an hopefully only litter of kittens (I've had friends who's cats have had kittens in the past but I was never there when they had them) unless we foster or take in another stray in the future.

Next we have monroe- he was givent this name because of the spot of colour that looks like marylin Monroe's mole, also from the character on Grimm. He's very laid back and affectionate. Kind of acts like a dog in some ways.
This is him waiting outside the first time I thought jinx was ready to have babies! He loves her so much!

And I'm Obaynne, mom of three humanoid spawn (Logan, Tyler, and Lillith). For some reason I chose the hobby of crochet - much to my cats delight! Not really sure what else to say about us lol

Have a great day everyone!

Thanks :) and for sure I will share some pictures! I don't think there are many babies (I feel two) - she's quite tiny. Jinx was so skinny when we got her that last week she looked like a regular healthy cat! Now she's slightly tubby looking lol but who knows she may surprise me!

Hi, welcome to The Cat Site.

I'm looking forward to seeing pictures of the kittens too. That was so nice of you to take Jinx in when she needed you. I hope she has a safe delivery.

:) I think she may be getting close. I believe she lost her plug last night and today she's been very vocal and in the last half hour she was making very angry yowling sounds mixed in with her normal yowling and chirping. She's also very annoyed with my kids when they get too close - but only sometimes - other times she is running up to them licking them and rubbing against them for pets.
I'm trying not to get my hopes up though. Everytime I thought she seemed ready she's switched it around and has gone back to normal lol
Oh well she will have them when she's ready.
I will take as many pictures as I can and share them here! Right now she wants to be right beside me but when delivery time comes she may prefer to be alone so we will see what's she's comfortable with at the time lol

They like to keep you hanging on, don't they? It does sound like she is getting close.

 for a safe delivery.

Well we finally had one kitten - I of course was napping and she didn't make a peep - unless I'm a very sound sleeper since it happened right beside me. I woke up a the last second and the kitten was breech. He didn't make it unfortunately ( I feel very upset because what if I'd been awake? Could I have done something to help her? ) she cleaned him off and licked for a while then took the placenta away and ate it. I went and tried to see if I could do anything for him but there was nothing to be done. His leg was broken at the hip and he looked way too long - I think he may have been stuck in the birth canal for too long. Then labour stopped totally. I see what looks like two more kittens and their movements seem strong. With my hand gently on her belly I believe I can feel their heads and they seem to be pointing the right direction. No matter what I'll not be sleeping till she has two more at least!
