HELP what's normal recovery from urinary blockage tx

My wifes four yo male developed urinary blockage and was nearly dead. TOok him to the vet, that catheterized him etc.

THey said it would be 48 hours but htey called to say he pulled his cath out after 12 hours and he seems ok and we took him home after only 24 hours.

He seems much better but he is drinking very little and peeing very little.  and we cannot get hold of the vet. and we live HOURS from another vet with Saturday hours.

So what does normal post treatment recovery look like?

What   else should we look for

Normally when this happens they reinsert the catheter.  What medicines was he sent home with?  Is there still blood in the urine?  Hopefully he is on pain medication.
