Hope everyone has a good weekend!

Today's question is: Do you crack your joints?

I've been cracking my knuckles and joints for as long as I can remember. Sometimes deliberately (knuckles, knee, elbow, jaw) and sometimes it just goes POP in the normal course of movement (neck, back, shoulders, wrists). When I wake up in the morning, it's like hearing a mini fireworks parade going off in my body.

YES.
Same here! For as long as I can remember. I tried to stop but sometimes they hurt and I intentionally have to pop or crack them to make them stop hurting.
Worst feeling ever when you are cracking your knuckles and it just WON'T.

No I have never done that.  In fact the sound of someone cracking their joints kind of bothers me, it sounds really painful to me.

I've creeped out a few people when I do it in elevators and such. It's the opposite of painful, it feels great!

Yes, I've always done this since I was a child. I think I copied my older brothers that use to do it ;)
It is one habit I have never been able to stop.

Lol ! I sometimes do it in front of people and don't realise I'm doing it, that is until they look at me in horror :lol3:

Yes! I ALWAYS crack my back. If I've been still for a while, which I usually am (sitting or standing), leaning back or even taking a deep breath while standing straight gets a few cracks. When I go out of my way for BIG relieving cracks, you can hear the sequence working its way down my spine. Feels SOOOOOOOO good. People are super creeped out by all the back cracks too. One of the best cracks that I can't control but can ALWAYS feel the tension of is my sacrum. HNNGGRRHHH, it is THE biggest relief.

Once in a while, my wrists will get sore too and I'll crack them. They let out baby cracks pretty often since unfortunately I'm stuck doing a lot of repetitive motions like mousing, drawing, or typing.

I had a friend once who has never heard of people cracking their joints. It was HILARIOUS when I did it in her house. I got up from the couch and my knee goes POP as it usually does. I'm carrying on talking while she was freaking out, "What was that??!!! It sounded like you broke a bone!!!!" Turned out I was the first person she ever knew to crack knuckles intentionally.

My next question if you are a.... um... cracker: What is the most impressive crack you have done so far?
I have two, and both involve my left knee (only left, don't ask me why!). If I'm laying down for a period of time, all I need to do is to stretch the knee horizontally. POP. It's really loud. Another favorite method is for me to kneel and put my body weight on that left knee, and then lean forward. POP. Bonus points if I do it on an echo-y or hollow-y surface (such as wood), because the sound gets amplified.

I crack almost every joint in my body.  The hardest to pop is between my shoulder blades.

Most impressive crack...hmmm...probably my neck.  I can crack most of it just by turning my head (without using my hands).

Oh wow ! My knees don't seem crack that loud. My most impressive crack is probably my knuckles - I can crack all four of my finger joints at exactly the same time :lol3: Now that is pretty loud, especially if I do both hands at the same time too :jump:

I have been cracking my joints since elementary school lol, my mom hated it and still hates it when I do it. I crack my neck, back, knuckles, wrists, knees, ankles, and occasionally my toes. It is relieving to me, especially my neck and upper back. :)

...with the cats...
the only thing i crack is my back. it's sometimes when i get out of bed in the morning, but always after i've finished washing the dishes. i lean my shoulders back real far, and my lower back cracks/pops back into proper alignment(?). my back feels much better after doing that.

Good Lord. I only know of knuckle cracking.
My mum used to do that. I don't crack anything.
