last night this was coming out my pregnant cats parts... this morning there were strings of it. She doesn't seem like she is in labour and I can see kitten movement. I have no idea how far gone she is!

Welcome to the site :wavey:

That is her mucus plug coming away :D So she is in the first stages of labour.
Kittens should start arriving anytime within the next 24 hours.

Congratulations and please keep us posted of how she is getting on

Yeah I have known them occasionally take longer, than the normal 24 hours after the plug comes away :D
As long as she's happy and content no need to worry ;)

When can we handle new kittens to check them over. They were born this morning :)

Oh congratulations

You can handle them straight away. You need to do this to weigh them everyday anyway :D
By weighing them everyday at same time, this will tell you quickly if something is wrong with any of them if they are not gaining enough weight.
Kittens should put on average about 10g a day.

Only handle them for as long as you need to, to get them weighed and check them over. Kittens squeak when being picked up which can stress mom cat. So only handle them for minimum possible time in the first two weeks :D

Peefs had a litter of three kittens, they are 10 days old and doing well. One has opened both eyes, two have only opened one eye. When should they open both eyes and how long before we should be concerned? Xx

Do the closed eyes look ok ? Is there any crustiness around them ?

As long as the closed eyes look fine, I would give it a couple more days before getting concerned. It's quite common for one eye to open before the other one ;)

Thanks for your reply. They look ok, there is no goo or anything, I've heard that a cotton wool ball with warm water gently wiped over will make mum clean the eyes to help open. ??? Xx

Yes you can wipe the eye with cotton wool and warm water. But you must not and I repeat must not try to open the eye yourself. This could cause very bad injury if they are not ready to open. :D
