Happy to report that the Diva cat has found her inner carnivore, is quite happily eating rabbit, lamb and the occasional piece of raw chicken, hopefully this will eliminate any future crystal build ups.
So, now for Nefra, she is one of a feral pair I adopted, both wobblers, very shy but loving. Nefra is pooping outside the box at least once a week. I was watching her and she is very industriously "digging" on the floor next to the box. I have removed the lids and have two large bins which I clean twice a day and I change the litter every two weeks. I have seen her actually get in the box, dig to China and then get out and poop on the floor and then just as actively bury it on the floor.
I have reduced all kibble to 1 tblsp x 2 a day and a much bigger portion of wet food, her stools are regular and she has lost at least 3 pounds and is a normal weight now as opposed to "fur sausage" weight. I am just cleaning it up and not too stressed but am wondering if there is something else I could do. She spent the first three months of her life living in a MacDonald's parking lot eating french fries before some kind soul trapped all four kittens/mother so they were socialized later than normal - perhaps she just doesn't have proper cat manners, the other place she will poop is in the bathtub, not a big deal and very easy to clean but odd all the same. Thanks in advance.
