Newbie, Rohan and Arya

Hi everyone! I'm new here and wanted to introduce myself, Beka and the babies, Rohan (orange tabby) and Arya ( brown tabby).

Those are such beautiful kitties. Are they brother and sister?

Surprisingly, no. Two different litters- they both happened to be at the shelter at the same time. Rohan is about 7 months now and Arya about 3.5 months. They're both little girls. I know Rohan sounds like a boys name, the pronunciation sounds more like Rowan and is supposed to mean "little red one" in Gaelic. I couldn't resist calling her that. thanks for the welcome! I love this site already!

Rohan is a lovely name. Sorry about the He/She mix up. I always assume that ginger cats are male, because they are more common than female.

But you've got a very pretty little red-headed girl there.

Thanks everyone! I was so excited to find a ginger girl! Even the vet has a hard time switching to say she rather than he.
