My 8 month old kitten has a very sensitive stomach and gets loose stools from everything EXCEPT for Hill's Prescription i/d canned and wet food. I recently heard that Hill's ingredients are not for cats. Would someone please recommend other premium cat food (dry and wet) good for a sensitive tummy?

(I've tried Natural Balance, Blue, Fancy Feast, Purina Kitten...etc. They all make her poo loose. Poop tests revealed nothing. Fortiflora doesn't seem to help.) THANK YOU!

Have you tried a Turkey based dry food? Turkey is apparently a good protein base for sensitive tummies. I feed our cat Halo Turkey (dry kibble), as well as a mix of wet food.  She also can't tolerate anything seafood, so maybe it's a certain protein that's causing the up set stomach.

Do you notice loose stool after dry food, or wet food? Or is it both?

Hi Nora1, thanks for your response.

She gets loose stools from both dry and wet food. So far I've tried fish, duck, beef, and chicken -- I will certainly try Turkey next.

My kitten ( almost 9 months) was on I/d too and I switched her to natures variety instinct pork. That's what was in I/d canned food. She was able to tolerate it without getting loose stools. I have kept her on the dry ... She gets a few crunchies at night.
