Grieving 2 cats who passed away only days apart </3

July 20 my beautiful 18 year old tortie calico, Meatball passed away. Last night, July 23 her 20 year old mother Bagheera passed away. I'm completely devastated. They were apart of my life for 18 years. I've ruled out any posibilty that they got into something that could have poisened them or made them sick..nothing has changed in my household & they were indoor only. They were old cats, who pretty much slept most of the time in their favorite spots. What are the chances them passing only 3 days apart? I'm so sad :‘(. R.I.P. my beautiful girls. I am so sorry to learn about your loss, of  not just Meatball but also Bagheera. They're together now, over the Rainbow Bridge.

You must be so sad and distraught. It's clear that you loved them very much and gave them wonderful care, that they could reach such respectable ages.

My condolences kitty lover. It will be very hard to lose not one but two bundles of joy in your life after having them so long. I've gone through it recently. The positives are you had them each for so long in your life, they lived good lives together for a long time and it seems they parted by natural causes. It will be a tough rocky road for some time may god be with your passed babies and you and your family.

I can't express how sorry I am for the loss your two beautiful girls.  Please take comfort that they were so happy together and with you.  

I'm so very very sorry for your tragic loss, losing two who you held for so long in your heart must be almost more then you can bear. It is comforting that they died peacefully at home after many loving years, it is most likely that Bagheera wanted to be with her daughter. Please accept my sincere condolences on your loss, I know they will hold a special place in  your heart for the rest of your life. Know you are not alone in your grief, we will share your burden in any way we can. I'll pray for you and your beautiful girls, take care of yourself and cherish your memories, they are a wonderful legacy. RIP beautiful Bagheera and Meatball, you were loved and will be greatly missed! 

I'm so sorry you had to lose both of them so close together. That's such a big chunk of your life to lose all at once. Bagheera must have wanted to join Meatball very much; they're reunited and both will be keeping watch over you.
