Hey thanks for helping.
My baby girl (Maryjane)
Is now 62 days along im very anxouis to meet our new family members.
I have her all set up with a nice cozy warm blanket. And food and water an her potty pann.
Today i noticed a thick glob of yellowish stuff (im guessing mucus plus) .
Her nipples arent a dark color and i can still see the babys moving rapidly inside of her.
I havnt had any luck with her milk either her nipples seem kind of dry or chapped .
Shes laying around constantly not much movement licking her self alot tho everywhere .
Havnt noticed any signs of discomfort or pain . Im just wondering how much longer do you think she will be. I can see shes tierd of being pregnant for sure. Please feel free to post. I can use all the advice i can get

Its just to wait...  The exact hour is impossible to know...   Cats manage a little too long preg better than humans, so dont worry if it takes a day or two longer then the you thought.

They usually do get milk if not before so after.  This is seldom a problem.

Of course, it is wise to know where to get a good kmr or goat milk,  IF it becomes necessary.   Or even have some home - you can always use it as extra food later on, if it hopefully becomes unused.

Good luck!

Ok so maryjane is now 63 days pregnant. Ive had her secluded in my room. For a couple days letting her come and go.
Shes determined to have the babys else where.
Could this be bad i did everything to the best of my ability .
Made her two nests.
Have her stinkyy litter box in here (im now cleanin it 4 times a day)
And she has a surplus supply of food and water.
Im concerned if she doesnt want to have them in here can she stop her labor...
Please help i want. Her to be comfortable

You are doing it right.   They often choose the nest either in first in last moments, or even - first after the delivery.  They dont want the nest to be smelly too early.

They dont want the litter too near the nest.  Have it as far you can manage.  But good you are cleaning it often.   It should work anyway.

Also, dont worry the kittens havent arrived yet.   They manage a little too long pregnancy better than humans.   And 63 days is nowhere late, its sooner the  first expected occasion.  She has a week left to expect them and before you need to begin and worry.

Sing softly, talk friendly while she is in yoour room, which is also her birthing room.  This is the language cats understands, esp females.

Good luck!

I just wanna see if theres any one out there who has had any simialr signs ..and maybe how long it took your girls to go into labor.
1. Licking constanly.
2. Purring loudly eyes dialated
3. Going around looking for places to lay in.
4. Eating large amounts.
5.random meows..and goes to the bed room door.

i don't have experience with pregnant kitties, but i'm sure someone will be along soon who does have experience.

when you say that your girl will meow and then goes to the bedroom door -- does she have a nest in there she likes? some cats prefer their human(s) to stay with them while they're giving birth, it's comforting to them. do you have a couple (or more) nests set up for her, so she can choose one she likes when she's going into labor?  have you felt or seen the kittens moving in momma cat? when you start feeling or seeing (though it isn't always easy to see it) the kittens moving inside momma cat, it's usually about 2 weeks before she gives birth.

is your girl eating kitten food? kitten food is really good for the momma cat, it will help give her strength for giving birth and then caring for/nursing her babies.

She goes to the door to get out of the bed room.

Big enought to nurse and be close .
Her cat food and litter in here too shes been in and out of the room for weeks .
Just in the last couple days ive locked her down .
But today she isnt content unless im here.
Hoping for the best.. this is her first and last.

You tell it!   But may be yes.

Well done MadameSir with finding an alternative, extra, place for her to be in.    :)

I'm kind of in a similar situation - I'm pretty sure my jinx has found her spot (out of the 10 I set up) however because I'm not in the room I'm thinking she will just have them on the kitchen floor lol!
Cats usually eat a lot but then stop eating for a day or two before labor actually starts. Or have a kibble or two once they become too hungry lol
Fast breathing is another indicator that it's close
Every cat is different though but my best guess is that you will have kittens within the next 3 days. Try to be patient and comfort her as much as she wants - I bet the first litter is scary.
In the end she will likely do whatever she wants despite what you want her to do - typical cat lol so try not to get too crazy about it just be there for her when you can in case she needs you - she will let you know :)

Good luck! And don't forget to post pictures of those kittens if you can! :)

Okay day 65
Heres an update.
Bout two days ago.
I noiticed a thick yellowish creamy colored glob by her vagina.
Today i noticed a little more with a less sticky consistansy .
Shes only going to her nests .
Think shes trying do decide which style she preferes.
She wont let me leave my room if i do shes at the door meowing constantly.
Then if im in there i have to stay right up her butt. If i lay on my bed shes trying to herd me back to her nest.
So anytime now.
Im not noticing any labor or contractions nothing has came out besides the yellowish stuff..
Is this normal?

I suppose it is still normal, as long she isnt in any problems, save clearly awaiting and wanting your company.   You ARE her Ma, after all, no?   :)

Massage her tummy if she lets you - she will probably do it, even encourage you.   It helps the birthing hormones come forward.

And have a field bed near her.  It seems the best solution for now.

Good luck!   @kittypretty504
