Hi everyone, I'm new here! I'm a huge cat lover and I currently have 3 of them. Recently I've been thinking about how I want to better their diet as their food now consists of cheap kibble and a pouch of cheap wet food.
I was considering raw, but I'm a busy mom and I don't know if I have the time to cut up and portion meat for everyone. While I was looking online at a raw food site that ships to my area, I saw that they sell ready made cat sausages in assorted varieties. The ingredient list is: 70% meat, 26% organs, 2% noodles, 1% taurine, and 1% sodium.
I'm inexperienced when it comes to cat nutrition, therefore I am unsure if this is a good alternative to raw meat. Anyone else feed their cats these ready made sausages? Any feedback is welcome, whether positive or negative!
Thank you!

If no one has tried these cat sausages, would anyone be able to tell me if the ingredient list sounds good? Does it sound like a well balanced diet for a cat? It also states that they are free of additives, preservatives, coloring, etc.

I don't see a calcium source? If there's no bone or calcium included, it's not a nutritionally complete food and should only be used as a supplementary food. I also don't see the point of 2% noodles, but that's a minor point.

I thought the same thing about the noodles. What cat needs it? And you are right, it is missing bone...

Maybe I will decide to feed raw after all.
