My cat was spayed last thursday she has a slight lump under the scar which developed a few days later. I took the upright scratching post after the fact should have done it sooner. When can she have that back and can that make matters worse. She seems very lonely without it and very bored.She eats very well etc but all thsi rest is driving her nuts?

The lump is normal---it's the body's reaction to the internal sutures dissolving. It should be gone in another week or so.
She should be mostly healed after a week. Usually after 10 days she should be OK to do her usual activities. Well, personally I never try to restrict a cat's activity after a spay---I figure she knows what hurts
. But if you want to follow all the vet's recommendations, they usually say 10 days.
