I found this sweety in the middle of the interstate

I was driving to work and I saw this tortie lump in the road... I honestly thought she had been run over and killed, but as I approached, I realized she was so shaken with fear she couldn't move.  So I pulled over and rushed over to get her.  She didn't fight me at all and luckily, it wasn't busy yet.  Poor baby.  She was pretty shaken and traumatized but she checked out good.  I think she may have been dumped? How someone could be so cold is beyond me?  But it's obvious she was a well cared for pet... To end up in the middle of the road on the interstate is not by accident. Anyway, since no room at the adoptions center I work at, I am fostering her.  She is very sweet and loving.  Very affectionate. She loves my office chair and my desk.  They are her spots.  I named her Cersei.

So glad you found her.  It makes my heart bleed to hear stories of cats dumped like that.  Bless you for taking her.

It is angels like you that make the world a better place.  Thank you so much for rescuing her.  Hopefully she will find a loving home this time around.

She's a doll!!  So pretty, too!  She's about 5 months old, the vet said.  She has an appointment to be spayed next week.  She loves music, especially the song "Pocket Full of Sunshine"   I tried to play positive music on the way to work and the way home to calm her, I swear I saw her dancing to it.  She likes me to play that song at home, too.  Phoebe, of course, has taken over as surrogate mother.  The  others seem to like her and Tyrion has another kitty to play with who doesn't mind his rough and tumble ways.  She will make some lucky someone as awesome forever furbaby!

The Cat Goddess takes care of her special ones by putting them in front of rescuers.  There is a special place in hell for dumpers.  Sometimes I wonder if they come back as dumpees so they can have the experience of what they did and thus achieve true repentance.  I hope so.

She is doing really well!  Eating good and she gets along with other cats.  She plays with Tyrion and doesn't complain that he's too rough, like Piper, Paige and Morgan La Fay do.  She's very sweet and loves to sit in laps.  She's a cuddlebug!

Around here common to find them dumped as they sexually mature and people get tired of them and not all "cute and small".  Girls calling and boys demanding to be let out.

She lucked out to be taken off road before she did get hit.

Here as well.  It's a bad area for that.  The vet I work for estimated her to be 4 or 5 months old, maybe older and she just might be small for her age.  But she's no longer a cute and little kitten anymore.  I was amazed she hadn't been hit yet.  She was in the middle, frozen in terror.  Poor little girl!  She is all good now, though.  You wouldn't know anything had happened.  She is being spayed next week and then they will start advertising her for adoption.  I am sure she'll find a wonderful home quickly!  She's really beautiful and so sweet!

I got some new pics of her... She doesn't like to have her pic taken so she looks a little stressed, but trust me, she is not!

I love her build.  And that I wanna sleep now look!

Cersei came through her spay just fine.  She is home with me recuperating.  She is awesome and very energetic.  I have to keep her and Tyrion from playing too roughly so she usually comes with me to work so he doesn't accidentally hurt her incision site.  She has become very talkative and is very much a lover and a lap cat.  I just wanted to let everyone know how she is doing!
