Hello,
Yesterday afternoon my cat got in to a little fight with another cat. The fight lasted a little over 15 seconds, but that big grey tomcat managed to bite or scratch (we can't tell which one) my 13 year old cat (i don't think they are too deep, but she's in a lot of pain). She was scared for about 20 mins, but then got up on the bed and relaxed. About 1 hour later, I checked her over and realized she had been bitten on the inside of her back leg and under her tail, beside her bum hole (sorry about such detail). Since then, we just watched her, but she won't eat and she is VERY lethargic and has a bit of a limp. She is also drinking obsessively/more than she used to. I have no clue what to do! Is the lethargie and the drinking normal? Should we get her to the vet? Is there anything I can do to make her more comfortable? Plus, she is very old so this could have taken a pretty big toll on her and she's been laying in pretty much the same spot since yesterday. Help!
Please, any advice would be much appreciated
Thanks,
Tia
