I don't know why I didn't post this earlier.

When I first got Emmett my mom said she would make him a cat toy. I didn't know what to expect. It was actually pretty cool, and Em still plays with it after 4 months.

You take a shoe or boot box. Cut different shape patterns in it. Like stars, squares, circles. Just big enough for the cat to get his nose in there. Then put a tennis ball inside and tape the whole thing shut.

The cat will play for hours trying to get the tennis ball as it rolls around inside. You could add bells or something to make it more attractive noise wise to the cat.

Let me know what you guys think of it if you have the chance to try it out. Emmers love it.

I have the shoe box and some Balls that have bells in them
lol I'll have to try that tonight.

They have an obsession with boxes so I think they'll
really like this.

Thank you!!

You can do the same thing with an empty kleenix box. Because it already has a slit in it, just drop a toy inside and sprinkle a bit of catnip in there and sit back and supervise this toy. (The cat could get her paw stuck in the slit, or her head! That's why you supervise it-

My little Blade has started sleeping in the Puff's tissue box!! I ended up having to take the tissues out of it since I have allergies and didn't see the point in cleaning my nose just to make it worse from the hair on the tissue. But he is the runt of his litter and is pretty small just small enough to fit into the Kleenex box to sleep. And his poor brother kitman just sits in front of it and gazes like he wants to sleep there to. But he's just a little to big to fit lol. Man I wish I had a digi camera to show you guys!
