Ok  thank you .. I  do respect others opinions but I have a strict budget and have to go with foods I can afford and this happens to  be one of them ..

Hopefully my cats will like it ..

Actually for that price of such a small can. You could do better.

Probably but my cats will not eat pate and there are a lot of flavors they do not like  so it makes it difficult .. They may not even eat this anyway  . I am  going to buy a can at the pet store  and try it ..  If not that is ok .. They love their Fancy Feast anyway ..

My non-pate-liking cat LOVES LOVES LOVES all flavors in the 3 oz Max Cat cans!  Be aware that the 5.5 oz cans are pate- so you have to buy the 3 oz cans if you want chunks.

If you want to try some, go to Pet Supermarket, they are BOGO FREE for another week, I think!!!!  I stocked up last week, and as soon as the sale is over I will go back to ordering from Chewy.

The ingredients aren't the best, but I'm serious- he LOVES this stuff.

If yours ends up liking this one, also check out Natural Balance Platefuls.  Mine also loves those.

And anything from Soulistic at Petco or Weruva.

There are very few chunky foods that are available in 5.5 oz cans, unfortunately.  I have looked.  Most "stews" or "shreds" or "chunks" are more like minced meat (By Nature, Merrick, Friskies, Fancy Feast, Halo, etc...we've tried them all!), and he doesn't like those.  He likes pure shredded/ chunks like Soulistic in gelee or Weruva, OR big chunks like Platefuls and Max Cat. He will have nothing to do with pate or anything that is too close to pate.

I noticed you said they love Fancy feast....what type?  I've tried almost all of them and my chunky loving cat doesn't love any of them.  He does, however, like the Sheba Cuts.  They are similar in texture to the FF but he likes the Sheba.  Cats are so picky.

Yeah ,my cats are so darn picky .. No pate , the pieces cannot be too big , no shreds  and  NO FISH .... They will not eat any of the Fancy Feast Classics but they like  a few flavors of the Grilled  , their most favorite are the Florentine  varieties ..  They  used to like Sheba but no more since they tasted FF ..   I have tried so many brands and they will not eat it . I am reluctant to try anything new because I cannot afford to waste any more money .. I  wish we had a Pet Supermarket here but we don't ..  Petsmart does have some good sales though....  I am  just happy they are on  100 % wet diet ... This may be the best I can do .. I know there are affordable better quality foods out there   but   my cats will not   eat them ..

If they don't like pieces that are too big, they may not like the Max Cat or Platefuls by natural balance.  Try, though, because you just never know with these rascals!  :)

Have you tried Earthborn? Its chunky in gelee. My cats wont eat it unless i blend it in the processor.

I have! But they like Cats in the Kitchen much better. They look about the same to me, but hey...I'm not a cat!

I  got  a can of Nutro Max Seafood & Tomato Bisque Chunks in Sauce ..

I gave each cat  1/2  , at first they just licked the sauce but I mixed   in  a few pieces of their Annamaet kibble and they ate most of it ..

For these 2 that is a very good sign ..  I am not buying too many cans yet . I want to see if they keep eating it ..  I sure hope they do ..
