She had her babies!
She had three. She started having them at 9 this morning and finished at about 12 this afternoon. They are very pretty. I will post pictures a bit later when she calms down.
Im very very happy to hear its going nicely and very well with the kittens. Slight prematures as here, has thin marginals. Real prematures more than 3 days is a fight uphill. Or worse.
Everything is good thank you for asking. The kittens are nursing very often and already have the most amazing personalities. The one thing about Baby Kitty (Momma) is she has worms, which I know is not uncommon for queens, but she seems to be in pain. Does it hurt them when they have worms?
I agree with Stefan. Unless it's a mega-infestation, worms don't cause any pain. Please do call your vet and see if you need to bring Momma and kittens in for a quick check up. Things can go wrong following a birth and only a vet can tell you if something's wrong.

It's possible for a cat to get pregnant immediately after giving birth. She doesn't necessarily have to go into heat since cats are induced ovulators. You really need to work on keeping her indoors until she can be spayed. If you feel you absolutely have to let her go out I recommend putting a harness and leash on her. That way you can control where she goes and she'll never be out of your site.I will try that. We at first had dirt in it, but she still wouldn't use it. Today we just didn't let her out and she used it. Keeping her inside until we can get her fixed is going to be a pain! She wasn't always an outside cat.
Does anyone know how long until she can get pregnant again? Is it just when she goes into heat or can she get pregnant at anytime?
