Korat, Russian Blue, or What?

I've attached four photos of Mr. Grimsby, our 15-year-old rescue. As I may have mentioned in another post, we were told he was a Russian Blue when we got him from the shelter. The first vet he went to said that he looks more like a Korat. So, I've been scanning photos of the two breeds on the Net and am even more confused now than before! Depending on the photo, he could be either.

The one characteristic that makes me think he's a Korat is that his fur seems to be very solid and all of one length. His fur doesn't fly around the house; it falls off him and stays where it lands. Our Bertha sheds like crazy and her fur flies everywhere. So, he definitely has a different kind of coat than she does.

Anyone got any suggestions for determining which breed (if either) he is? And I've included a photo of Bertha just cuz she's so darned cute!

Both breeds do have  green eyes.  His does not even resemble green.   So he cant be a real RB nor Korat, just without papers.  Not even one of pet quality.

He is a domestic who is quite look alike a russian.    This is not uncommon!

Call him for a Maltese cat, this is what we agreed to do here on this forum.

Mr. G is a beautiful blue kitty! Is Bertha the last picture? If so, she is gorgeous, too! You are especially blessed to have two blue babies! Perhaps you'd like to add them to the picture forum specifically for blue/gray/maltese cats?
