Coughing Attack - Kitten

Hi Everyone,

Need some assistance!

We recently got another cat into our household and every morning without fail she purrs out of control but then starts having a cough attacking. At first we were really paranoid and thought something bad was going to happen but we spoke to our Cat Doctor who said his cat does the same thing and its nothing to be worried about.

We have a 6 year old bengal who has never had this issue and now we have an 8 month old Russian Blue Girl who has done this every since we got her and every morning without fail, we know its going to happen and we let her have the couging epiosde and then she is fine.

Does anyone have the same problem or could tell me a little more about what this might be?

But no vet exam?  I would be looking inside the cat's throat to rule out an obstruction like a Nasal Pharyngeal Polyp.
