Hi - I am bottle feeding these three orphan kittens.  They were rescued from Animal Control - turned in at 10 days old without mom :(

They are *so* different.  The white one has a different textured coat, a different shaped head, and a very different personality. She is very calm and mellow.  Her little tabby siblings are full of themselves. She does play with them, but it's almost hard to believe they came from the same mother.  I understand different dads.

Any thoughts on how she may look later?  She has points.  I will try to get better photo - they are never still!!!

Thanks!

They are so sweet and tiny!! Could you try to get a photo of her on her own? It's a little hard to see her fully to give an accurate guess for you.

Also, welcome to TCS!

She looks like kittens I have raised in the past. At first glance I would consider her a "Lynx Point Siamese". However, "Pointed Tabby" I would be more appropriate since her siblings appear to be your typical Mackerel Tabby.

Here is an example of an adult Pointed Tabby:

Thank you!  Also thanks for the welcome!!! I am so happy to find this site - I am actually a dog rescuer but on July 3rd they were threatening to put these babies down  (at my local high kill shelter)  without a bottle-feeder so I couldn't let that happen!  They have been a joy and I am considering keeping this little girl - she is beautiful and so mellow.

Do you think she has a Siamese head?  Will it become less round as she gets older?  It just so different from her tabby siblings' heads.  It almost seems her ears are lower on her head.

Thank you for saving these precious babies! They are all so stinking cute! Are the other two males? From what I've learned from this site, females take their colors from their dads. Whereas males get colors from the mom and dad. So the boys probably took after mom, while the girl took after her daddy. @GemsGem is very knowledgable on this subject, so you could probably ask her if you want to know more! Good luck! :vibes:

Feline genetics are a bit more complicated than that. This is part of the information from the CFA website on Basic Feline Genetics.

1. Male kittens always obtain both color genes from the dam. The male offspring in a litter will always be either the color of the dam (or one of the colors in the case of parti-colors) or the dilute form of the dam's color. See the statement on dilutes for more information (see #21 & #24).

2. Female kittens take one color gene from each parent. The color of the female kittens in a litter will always be either a combination of the sire's and dam's colors, or the dilute form of those colors (see #21 & #24).

3. To obtain any of the red or cream color/patterns in female kittens, the sire must be one of the red or cream color/patterns PLUS the dam must in some form demonstrate red or cream (see #21).
