Hi, searching the net I found you and I apologize for skipping the introductions and coming right here, but I feel really really really .....

I have a rescue cat, and also recently lost my job, so no vet trips, my car is in the shop, taking all my savings and some borrowed money.

The vet aged male Kitty at 4, according to adoption papers.

Said nothing wrong, healthy.

I have had him a short while. several months.

His poos have always been liquid poop, vet said normal for him.

I started to give him a half a teaspoon of pshyiusm husks in a small bit of wet food in the morning and at night because I thought he couldn't make it to the litter box.  His poops seem to firm up and have a normal shape.

The last two weeks Kitty started leaving small puddles of pudding poop all over the place.

I also have a second kitty - Felix a year and a half, his poops are normal. Back to Kitty, I thought they both were playing running and chasing each other. Kitty licks and "hugs" Felix.  Felix is not so sure yet.

I thought that he-Kitty  was leaving the poop because he couldn't make it to the litter.  I was patient and understanding, it has happened on three different occasions over the last month. Tonight, I lost it. he wasn't playing with Felix, he wasn't trying to get to the litter box, he was running around  'spraying' poop from his butt - right now I feel it was intentional, although I am not thinking clearly. He was running around leaving poop everywhere, the bed and bedroom floor upstairs, the stairs,  the couch, the living room floor, the kitchen, the hallway, downstairs, the carpet, couch pillows, my desk, my mouse, he missed the keyboard, he got my camera case, my notes, ..... I just lost it, seeing this, I grabbed him, pulled off the lid to the litter box and dropped him into the litter box, he tried to get out of it and I held him there until he pooped  then he was free to leave, he turned around and buried it. Right now he is all loving and wanting to be close but I am sooooo frustrated, and angry. I would be lying if I wasn't and Its past my bedtime and I will be up who knows how long cleaning up his mess and it stinks to high heaven.

Do cats do this?  Is this normal? He has has the same diet he had before, except I did cut down on the wet food he was getting. Instead of a quarter can twice a day, I give him an eighth of a can of  only enough to hold the psylium (with water), which had been helping.

I don't know what to do, any help would be appreciated, I have a large dog cage from our dog that was recently put down (17 years old). That I am seriously thinking about leaving him in so he can't continue to poop on everything.

I should also add that before I moved to the pysllium, I had him on pumpkin, it wasn't as effective.
