Btw if she was bred right before getting picked up by animal control she'd be coming up on her 9th week around now.

I just wonder why her first owner didn't get her fixed when she was younger? It's like $40 in the next county over.
Then again a co workers girlfriends cat just had kittens and she said her cat just ran away once. Well it only takes once... She has other cats too. Amazes me. But my mom use to fix every animal we had too.

That sounds like a good plan! If she does have kittens be sure to post pictures!

Well this isn't why I bought the tub but ok... Lol only took two weeks!
Sorry I had to share. Melted my little heart when I went to go check on her before work.

They are the same age...... By far not the same size!

Now I'm on pins and needles waiting to see if you have kittens!

Maybe getting xrays or an ultrasound is a good idea. Mommas have to be on a certain diet to ensure that they are getting enough nutrients and weight for the kittens. Though as someone who actively volunteers at a rescue, getting her spayed doesn't sound like such a bad idea though yes I know it can sound cruel. Kitten season is sooo hard on rescues and shelters, by this time of year the spca is usually so full because of all the kittens being born. Even if she has 3 kittens, that is 3 homes that is being taken away from other cats/kittens who are already born and may be put to sleep because there is no room. It's literally heartbreaking to have to say no to people who urgently need us to take in some kittens who may not make it another day, but having no foster homes or money to take them in.. it's hard, very hard. But I can't change your mind, but I do think it's a good idea to get her checked as soon as possible to confirm.  Are you going to give the kittens to shelter or rehoming them yourself?

I have a few friends who already want them without even seeing them. I always post cat stories and they love both their personalities (even though the major major brat cat isn't the dad. He isn't really a he anymore lol)

If I knew she had just gotten pregnant I wouldn't have cared to spay her and abort what weren't even real kittens yet.

I've worked at a vet office and saw him take out fetuses that looked like puppies. It was horrible [emoji]128542[/emoji][emoji]128542[/emoji] can't do it.

The friends who said they want a kitten from my girl are huge animal people and probably wouldn't get another if it wasn't for me having a pregnant cat.
I guess they hope the kitten will entertain them as my cats do. (They don't understand the aggravation that comes along with trying to find your sponge or debit card because the cat took off with it. Actually the debit card he skillfully pushed between the counter top and stove)

Both cats always meet me at the door when I get home which is sweet and all but bums me out when I see her lol
Her nipples closer to her rear are very big! Then they get smaller the further up it goes. But the big ones are more pink now with the white cap.

She seriously needs to do this already... Lol
She seems to be playing less which has Bentley bumed out but he'll be ok.

No :( starting to think she's an oddly shaped cat?

Here is her nipples (sounds so odd saying that)

Ok well it's a much clearer pic before I uploaded it. Now I see fur and one nipple. Lol

Ugh I'm so exhausted. I tried to go to sleep early last night since I'm working day shift (wake up at 4:30am).
I'm guessing it was Bella that woke me up multiple times sounding like she was throwing up. I close my door at night since my male will sleep with me for a bit then torment me. But still work up probably 4 times.

No vomit anywhere though?
I was reading online and it seems this may happen before giving birth. So crossing my fingers it'll happen today!! I'm thinking about running home and locking her in their bedroom and keeping the male cat away.
She seemed normal acting though?

I've seen a number of pregnant cats in my day. Some cats have an extended belly, others don't. You can usually tell if you can feel lumps on their sides. Expectant cats will always decide to pick a private place to make a nest for their babies, and if you try to deter the cat, she will go back to it repeatedly....that's a sure sign.

:( no kittens. She's currently running around playing/destroying the house.

Stomach looks the same.. Nipples the same. I guess I'm going to see if I can get her in at the vet that can do altrasounds on my day off. If it's not going to cost an arm and a leg.
I could have sworn I felt movement a week ago in her belly. But who knows.

Maybe see if there is more movement in her belly or if she makes a nest, otherwise take her to the vet if in doubt.

She's becoming more and more vocal. Past few hours she goes from their bedroom in her fav spot to the couch in her fav spot. She meows and meows and meows going between the two (not nesting areas at all).
Bentley has been leaving her alone since this morning too.
:crosses fingers:
She looks uncomfy as she walks by. Odd look to her stance.
Just looked at her and when looking at her from one side she doesn't look pregnant. Other side is where the belly is. Her right side shows.
One nipple is very very pink. Rest are the same.

:( she's back to running around and playing. But she keeps stopping and laying down but has her rear legs in an odd stance. I need to try to take a pic. She doesn't look like she's presenting herself I don't think? If she is it's not working because Bentley seems freaked out lol he runs after her and wants to play but is being gentle. Then attacks me instead lol

It's horrible when you aren't 100% sure she bred but pretty sure? Lol I didn't want kittens but man I wish she's just have them so I won't be wrong and we can get over this!!
If she's not pregnant then she has something wrong.
Found out there are only two vets with ultrasound and one is not cheap at all!!! They charged me $136 to look at Bentley take a fecal and give me one tube of a topical flea meds. My vet was $20 to look at Bella.
The other is kinda far away.

Sorry I keep posting...

I'm starting to think she's not pregnant and is currently in heat. Looking further online she always crouching like a cat in heat. But without her tail to the side. She had her tail down all day.
She's restless as well and meowing like crazy.

But she isn't rolling around or rubbing on things.
Still has a belly though. I'm really dreading paying for the vet visit.

Where my cats are
Boy this sounds so frustrating.  I've not had much experience with cats in heat.  The one of mine who went into heat did so really young and it was pretty obvious.  But she was also really young and I'd had her longer so I knew what was different.
