Hey everyone,

I need to order some fountain filters from Zooplus and I wanted to try some new brands of cat food for Mew. I've recently tried Nature's Menu with Mew and he doesn't like it. It is frustrating since I've tried so many good quality brands of wet food and I can't find one he will even tolerate. I've thinking to try a Miamor and Bozita Feline Tetra Pak. I was wondering what type of Miamor and Bozita is the best type. I noticed some Miamor have very low meat content, so I want to avoid those. I found Miamor Mild Meal, Miamor Fine Fillets in Jelly, Miamor Fine Fillets, and Miamor Sensitive that look good. Which one is the best Miamor out of the ones I listed or even one I didn't list. I was also thinking to go with Diet & Stomach - Sensitive or Hair & Skin - Sensitive Bozita since both would benefit Mew. I was wondering which one you guys would recommend. I'm asking since I don't know if one Bozita type is tastier than the other or if it's better. I'm also open to other good quality complete wet cat food if anyone else has any suggestions for a brand I Should try.

So far I've tried Nature's Menu, Catz Finefood, Animonda Carny, Grau, Granatapet, and Feringa with no success. Out of all those brands, Feringa was most liked, but still not very much. In America, Mew's favorite foods were Meow Mix and Fancy Feast. He would ate those brands without any problem for most of his life and he loved them. When I first moved to the Netherlands with my husband, we tried Whiskas, but he didn't care much for it. But that was before I realized how bad they were and wanted to switch Mew to better quality food. Ever since I've tried switching Mew, he refuses to eat anything and I can't find anything he can even tolerate. I would appreciate it if anyone could recommend me some cat food brands that have similar texture and taste to Meow Mix and Fancy Feast.

Fancy Feast = Gourmet in Europe.

Miamor is very similar to Gourmet. Both Gourmet and Miamor have a pate line which is by far healthier than the other lines (fillet, chunks, pearls). Miamor file is complementary, but my cats didn't like it as much as they like Applaws and Almo Nature.

With Bozita, I would stick to the "normal" line - tetrapacks in jelly or sauce. The other, sensitive, hair & skin have only one added ingredient (like fish oil) which makes it more expensive than the big tetrapacks. Oh, the tatrapacks are all chunks, the cans are pate.

Regarding flavors, I cannot help you much, because in my house I have two cats that eat every single type of protein (haddock, lamb, reindeer, they think cats normally hunt all other animals, they would eat dinosaurs if they could) and I have another cat who hates fish and is a very pick eater, but she likes all non fish flavors from Bozita (elk, rabbit, you name it).

Mine hated Feringa. Or maybe I hated Feringa, as the smell really made me sick.

Give THRIVE COMPLETE a try. It is like Applaws and Almo Nature, but complete, as the name says it.

Thank you for letting me know that Miamor is similar to Gormet. Mew tried Gormet Gold before and liked it, but I didn't want him to eat it since it isn't very good quality food. I didn't realize the filet line was complementary, thank you for telling me.It's good the tetrapacks are in chunks since Mew absolutely will not eat anything Pate. I don't think Mew has a problem with flavors, it's the Pate that he has a issue with. Of course he prefers eating fish, but I don't let him have to much of it. I think I will give Thrive Complete a chance. It is a little expensive since it comes in such small cans. But I mean I'm sure it's a lot cheaper than the amount of money we've been wasting on buying on different brands that Mew refuses to even take one bite. I mean Mew absolutely loves Applaws and Almo Nature. There gone within a few minutes. So I'm sure he would absolutely love Thrive. I wish I could buy it in bulk on Zooplus, but then it only lets me pick one flavor.

Gemengd pakket Gevogelte - isn't this "mixed poultry package"? You should be able to order this package - it has 12 chicken cans, 6 chicken & liver and 6 chicken & poultry.
Your right!! The mixed poultry package comes with 6 chicken & liver and 6 chicken & poultry! That is wonderful news since that means I don't have to only but one flavor. Too bad it doesn't come with a little bit of fish, but that's alright. I really like how Thrive comes with two flavors :) I noticed a lot of cat foods here only come with one flavor. Thank you for showing me the mixed poultry package. I will buy this one.

Hey everyone :) I have wonderful news! The package came from Zooplus today. I opened up a Chicken and Turkey can of Thrive. Right away Mew went crazy and tried eating it from the can before I could even get it in his bowl! I've never seen him go crazy for any brand of cat food. When I got it into the bowl, it was gone 1 minute later! I'm so happy he loves the Thrive and is crazy for it.It was such a relief to see him actually eat everything from his bowl. Thank you so much IrinaSaK for the recommendation :)

Yeei! I'm so glad he likes it!
Metoo :)!!! Since coming to the Netherlands a year ago, this is the first complete food he's actually enjoyed eating and demands more of! I just gave him Chicken and Liver a few hours ago for dinner and it was also eaten within seconds. I still can't believe we finally got a food he loves. He even loves it more than the Applaws and Almo Nature which I didn't think was possible. The food in Thrive is such high quality that it looks like people food.
