It's also Art Fair week in downtown, where people are walking around in sweaters instead of umbrellas and hats this year. I guess this is payback for 8 months of miserable winter.

Haha, the days have been a pretty cool summer up here lately (around 20C plus some sun), but mornings and nights I'm still wrapped in a giant comforter! I'm hoping this will mean a milder winter rather than one worse than last year!

I have to wear my leather jacket around the house, because my cat insists that I open the window so he can look out. He kept silently pawing at the window and giving me the look.
Thank goodness he's okay with me closing it after sundown.

I am liking this weather. I'm almost 7 months pregnant and always hot so it's a nice change.
Unfortunately, it's supposed to warm back up by the weekend and be humid for our move on Saturday.

Ummmm, that would be us, too. Sticky, sticky. That last t-storm on Tuesday night brought in some cooler weather, thankfully, and our humidity has dropped a bit. But it has been terribly humid the last few weeks. I think our low last night was in the low 60s....it actually felt rather good.

It was cold here overnight, I actually had to get up and close the window. It got down to 7C (44F). This is such a weird summer.

The humidity has been pretty bad.  Multiple-showers-a-day kind of bad.

That Southern Georgia weather.
I feel you. Go outside to do something quick, or hell, even walk to the mailbox some days and you need to take another shower.

Right here! :)
Sadly, summer has not reached my city!  It´s been warm in other parts of the country, but here, in this area, it's the wettest summer since they started measuring precipitation in 1920.   It's not even rain any more, it really really pours!  Every day!  :(

Well, I'd said there was no Summer here (mainly because it's Winter)
but the other day we had a real summer thunderstorm with driving rain, hail, lightening, the lot.

We only ever get storms like that in Summer

We had 2 very hot days and now it's back to cooler again. We had a bad thunderstorm overnight and it really cooled down.

Same here in Toronto. It was so hot and muggy last night that I got woken up at 1:30 last night and told to stop lying spread eagle and make some space for my boyfriend, and to give some covers back (I had it crumpled in a ball and I was just wrapped around it). When I woke up this morning, it was chilly and an awesome breeze was coming in through the north side window.

Apparently it's warmer and more summery in Australia when it's winter over there, than it is in Iceland in the summer. :/

It's all my fault because we spent loads of money on a big central air unit this spring and have only turned it on maybe 6 days total. And we have been turning it off at night. Typical case of spending money and buying something big, then not needing it. Glad some of you are benefitting from our purchase and depleted bank account.

Cocheezie can't handle heat over 30C, so this lack of summer is good for her.

Don't worry; it's back to the 90s here.

IMO the jet stream is way too low.  It looks like your temperatures are very similar to what we've been having in MN.  And I wonder if this means another early fall
followed by another extremely cold winter.

catlover19  Is 44 degrees F.  normal for you?  I been noticing Canada has been having overnight temperatures like that for some time now which is another reason I think this coming winter will be absolutely horrible.
