I think my cat might be a wild domestic hybrid...

I first began getting curious when I saw the size of his paws...then I noticed some very distinct markings and started researching and looking to different possible breeds.  I have found that a lot of the cats have similar markings.  Hoping someone can help.

He is very adorable and sweet, but I think he is domestic,  no wild combination.   Unless you make him mad and wild, of course!

Kittens do have big paws, they hadnt grown yet into their adult proportions.    And he has some spots on the tummy, quite common on tabbys...

Good luck!

Thanks.  I'm not sure these photos do him justice.  I think he's a bengal cat.  We adopted, so we have no idea.  I guess we will wait and see as he grows.

He is not Bengal. Bengals have very profound markings. He is mackerel tabby - this is what I see from your pictures. Mackerel tabby is common pattern for many cat breeds. His paws are normal. I agree with previous comments - kitten may have bigger than usual paws, kitten will 'grow into his paws'. I would say judging by his look that he is adorable domestic shorthair and will be beautiful adult, possibly above average in size. I am breeding Highlanders, this is very common pattern for our breed.
