Goodbye my sweet kitten. It was time for you to cross to the big cat treat in the sky. I went outside today looking for my Tootsie. She always comes when I call no matter where she is, so I got this bad feeling in my stomach. I went around the neighborhood calling for her and then I saw it. A small bundle of fur lying on my neighbors porch. I thought she was sleeping at first so I called to her. When she didn't respond, I went over to get a closer look. I started to get a really bad feeling when I saw how limp she was. Her eyes were open and glazed and her mouth was bleeding. My heart sank, but I still hoped she was alive.Just minutes before she was just climbing up my leg and begging to be picked up, and after that, covering my face with tiny kitten kisses. She was perfectly healthy. I just..don't know why... I buried Tootsie under her favorite climbing tree today. RIP Tootsie, my sweet, sweet kitten. May you be in a better place.
