I have done it in the past, but seem challenged at doing it consistently (crop and resizing), thanks for the tips, maybe I'll try it again

I have hiccups of tears if that makes any sense, I keep starting to look for him, to go do our routines of his meds, or look for him in my chair. Darn good thing I believe I'll see him again, otherwise I don't think I could bear this loss or the others we've had, and others to come

That makes so much sense. I wonder if anyone else on this board who has lost theirs recently cries when taking a bath? I did last night. I was always told to be strong as a little girl, so I used to cry in the tub where nobody could tell. And I cry all the time driving home, because I have an hour commute and can't help but think of him. I miss him so much. Yes, Pat, I too start to reach for Freddie's medicine, which in the end did not good...and am deciding whether or not to keep his little dishes on the floor next to Sasha's. I, too, look for him, but more in terms of seeing his image on the stairs or in the shrubby knoll outside.
Stay strong, he IS watching you.

We brought Christopher's ashes home today (in a small carved wooden urn) and picked up the clay pawprint they did for us. It makes a sad but sweet memory, he had the largest paws with long hairy tufts between his toes

Coincidentally, I learned about something we will do eventually, having a Spirit Weight made. I just think this is a beautiful way to have a part of Chris around...here is the link to the artists main page, then just click on Spirit Weights.Spirit Weights by Marc Boutte

Just wanted to share this option for others on the list who have recently had a loss too,

What a beautiful cat he was, with such great intelligence shining from those gorgeous eyes. I too have never seen a Curl, and he was a wonderful representation. I hope you find some comfort in preserving his memory with the Spirit Weight, it's a lovely thing.

Thank you Hope, I've thought so since the day he was born. He was one of those "charming" kittens who never outgrew being charming.

Thank you, I will. I love the coincidence of learning about the Spirit Weights at this point in time (and even that it's by an artist in my state).

You are right, Chris was intelligent - too bad this particular photo didn't do justice to his baby blues.
