Cats and Water! Picture of the Month - July 2014

Cats and Water!  - Picture of the Month Contest


The theme for this month is: cats and water. We're looking for pictures that have both cats and water in the picture. Cats along a body of water is acceptable too, but a cat interacting with water in some interesting way is even better. Water dishes, tubs, sinks... anything goes, except for pictures showing a person deliberately causing discomfort to a cat using water, so no spray bottles in action please.

Submissions will be accepted through Sunday, July 20th. 

The Rules:

1. Choose the best picture you have for our monthly theme and post it to this thread along with the cat's name.
2. Image needs to be clear and not too small. 480 pixels high by 640 pixels wide minimum should be a good enough size.
3. One submission per member please 
   

Our cats are ALL amazingly beautiful! This friendly photo contest is about the way in which the cat is captured in the picture. We're not looking for professional photography, but do try to keep things like image quality, lighting and composition in mind.

He must be the only cat in the world that loves rainy days.

this is Jet. When she was 4 months old. Drinking water from Mommy's glass, and never her bowl.


This is Charlie when he was about 7-8 months old. He used to love sitting in wet sinks. in the bathroom or the kitchen. this is in the bathroom. 


I wanted to share both pictures, but i would love to submit Charlie for this month's theme

Here's Monet as a kitten, finishing off my glass of water. His head can't fit in the glass anymore!

Agreed.     A very fine month and a great topic for showing out cats characters and behaviours.  Looking forward to seeing lots more entries.
