Hi, I'm very worried !! My 4 yo Fiv cat started vomiting white frothy vomit this afternoon.  She vomited about 6 times.   THe last time is was off color and smelled like feces.  She also has alot of diarrehea all in her litter box.  The box is kept in a shower inclosure and there was diarrhea spots on the bathroom door also (maybe she shook it off her tail..i don't know).  I'm calling vet first thing in morning but i'm very scared !!

Thanks StephenQ.  I called my vet first thing in morning.  Was little surprised she advised to just monitor her,  I did tell her that she had no more diarrhea or vomiting during the rest of evening  and was acting herself again.  In the morning she was begging for food and was drinking water.  No signs of dehydration either.  Since then everything been good.  Two days prior to her getting sick I switched litter from the clay type to tidy cat....wondering if that could have upset her stomach if she had licked her paws

I'm so glad she's better! A change in litter doesn't seem to be the likely culprit, but the bottom line is you may never know.
