Just joined, although I've visited a few times before 
I love all animals, I'm 25, my heart is too big for my own good.
I have 4 indoor kitties...
First came Eli, he was my Christmas present from my aunt back in 2005 after my husky died of cancer (she was mean to cats, so we couldn't have one while she was alive). He was a surprise, a few days before Christmas she picked me up and said we were going to go look at something for my present. We ended up at her sister's house (she married my uncle so her sister isn't my aunt lol) and there were two litters of kittens. I had planned on getting an adult cat, preferably orange and female from a shelter. One litter of kittens was orange and 8 weeks, the older litter was 12 weeks old and there were two kittens left, both grey and white. All the orange kittens ran and this gray fluff ball waddled over to me, plopped down and started purring. He chose me, and from then on he's been my baby.
Eli loves going out on a leash, in his stroller, or even in my bike basket. He also likes dressing up
Nest came Spookie, he wandered onto our back porch and jumped on my mom's lap. It's hard to find a pic of him alone because he is a a cuddle bug and is usually with one of the other cats. Eli hated him at first, but Spook won him over. Spook is about 20lbs and has some food allergies and flea so he loses his hair a lot.
Then in 2011 I went for an early morning walk to take pictures and found a tiny 2 week old kitten I named Calypso. She was my baby until I had a 2 week stay in the hospital and she bonded with my dad. She has some issues that make me believe she might have Feline Hyperethesia and she's a big brat, but I love her anyway. When Calypso was found Spook became what I call Nanny Spook and took care of her as if he were her mom
and finally, last summer, while delivering mail my dad found a very sick kitten we named Lucy. She is the spunkiest little cat ever. She is in everything, she even follows us into the shower! At this point Eli was used to new cats, and spook and calypso love other cats so she fit right in
plus I take care of a colony of feral and stray cats....
this little one got warbles (maggots) and had to go to the vet, she's inside for now but I'm not allowed to keep her (apparently 5 cats is too many...). I named her Honey, and I'm hoping to be able to keep her at my boyfriend's house until we can move haha
