I'm sorry to hear of your loss. When Smokey was sick & passed away, I always said it's not a feeling I would wish on anyone.

R.I.P Calipso & have fun chasing the butterflys over the bridge.

Calypso, by Suzanne Vega

My name is Calypso
And I have lived alone
I live on an island
And I waken to the dawn
A long time ago
I watched him struggle with the sea
I knew that he was drowning
And I brought him into me
Now today
Come morning light
He sails away
After one last night
I let him go.

My name is Calypso
My garden overflows
Thick and wild and hidden
Is the sweetness there that grows
My hair it blows long
As I sing into the wind
My name is Calypso
And I have lived alone
I live on an island
I tell of nights
Where I could taste the salt on his skin

Salt of the waves
And of tears
And though he,pulled away
I kept him here for years
I let him go

My name is Calypso
I have let him go
In the dawn he sails away
To be gone forever more
And the waves will take him in again
But he'll know their ways now
I will stand upon the shore
With a clean heart

And my song in the wind
The sand will sting my feet
And the sky will burn
It's a lonely time ahead
I do not ask him to return
I let him go
I let him go

I have no doubt she had THE very best. We are sending our best, and Freddie will see her in heaven, too.

Thank you all for all your kind worts you have given me . It make's me feel good to know that there are people who care about me and my babies . I am still grieving and will for a while , I am not depressed this morning and think it is a better day for me . I will visit Calipso later on by her grave site to tell her I still love her and miss her . We burried her unter a big shady tree in our back yard , I am sure she would love it there . She used to love going out in the cat enclosure and watch the birds and squerrels and what ever else was flying and crawling around . So she will enjoy the big tree there with all the little creature living there and also having the song birds singing to her . My sweet little angel RIP

PurrfectCatlove- I'm so sorry about Calypso. It's very heartbreaking to lose a baby, and it's such a shock on top of the heartbreak to lose a baby when you aren't expecting it to happen. I know she loves the beautiful final resting place you gave her.
