Hey guys.. does any expert have feedback on Taste of the Wild? I am shifting into full wet food diet and eventually into raw when I'm ready.

Pasha is 2 years and love wet food so I'm feeding him now different brands to see what he likes and which makes his poop smells the last. Sadly I so far can't find any organic food where I live and not sure if I ordered it online it would still be eadable once it gets here.

I've looked at the label and it doesn't have any added colors. It has tones of vitamins compared to Fancy Feast for example.

Pasha is my first pet and so I'm still learning about best diet. I've had him for 3 months now and I'd like to find one good wet food to get him on until we make the switch to raw.
He's been on royal cannin dry then wet (obesity) but I've realised the wet packs has no ingredients and so I've now decided I won't feed him anything I don't know what's made of.
So so far Taste of the Wide seems to be the best option I managed to find available here.

Appreciate feedback please

Hi Shatha!

I think feeding your cat wet foods are great!
The only thing I don't like about Taste of Wild wet for cats is that their main sources for protein consists mainly of fish in both varieties. When transitioning to raw, it might be more challenging if your cat is accustomed to only eating fishy foods...I'd suggest finding something with poultry to add to your rotation feeding in canned. Having your cat exposed to different protein sources will be important when feeding raw. I'd try chicken, turkey, beef, duck, lamb and rabbit for example. Once you find something your cat likes, you can buy canned in large cans (12-13 oz cans) to save more money. I've heard good things on Dave's canned cat food (but it's not a common find in my area). I feed my cats Nature's Variety, Merrick, Wellness, Wild Calling, and Tiki cat (Puka Puka Luau only). One of my cats are fully raw fed, and my other kitty likes some wet mixed with his commercial raw.

Best wishes to you and your cat!
