I went out to the mailbox today and found a small box from Purina. It appears to be a sample for these new Fancy Feast Broths. It's an individual Classic broth packet described as "gourmet cat compliment". It also came with a $1.00 off coupon and a website to give a review.

Has anyone else received one of these in the mail? Or have any of you been feeding this to your feline companions?

The first few ingredients are okay (although heavy on fish) but unimpressed with the latter ingredients:
modified tapioca starch, potato starch, wheat starch, sugar, salt, soy protein, vegetable oil, guar gum, carrageenan, vitamin e supplement, egg whites, spice and coloring
Some of the 'creamy' ones contain milk.
Please note these are not complete meals, should be fed only to 'supplement' your cat's diet. Think it as a wet treat instead of a dry treat.

Thanks for the reply!
Yeah I read the ingredients and understand the concept of "compliment"... I gave it to my Nel anyway and she enjoyed it. Not something I think I will purchase for her as a permanent thing though.

I can see where these would be helpful if a cat went off their food.  Something to entice them, ya know?
