I'm off work today and just gave the kids a bit of lunch. Muffin has eaten and now she's ready for her nap. She usually hops into her stroller and naps in there. I happened to walk back here and saw her. She'll probably sleep for a couple of hours and then be ready for a mid-afternoon snack. I'm taking her to my sister's tonight and she and I will walk through town for about an hour or so. She loves to be in her stroller and it's safer to talk over there than it is around here. There's netting that zips shut in the front, so she can't get out of the stroller, not that she even tries. She sits straight up and waits for people we pass to talk to her. She'll talk back to people.

One of my sister's neighbors asked her the other week where Muffin and I were....I've not had her over there yet this year because of my foot issues and people remember her from last year.

I love it!!  I should look into getting a pet stroller to take mine out for walks.  The only time they go outside at all is in a carrier to the vet.

Thanks everybody!

She dearly loves going for walks, but we can't do it out our way. We'd be right on the road and it's simply not safe enough (remember I got hit here last year and I was even off the white line when that happened....no way could I try it with the stroller). I can't take the stroller through the yard because it's too bumpy and she doesn't enjoy it....she lets me know she's not happy. My sister lives in a small town and Muffin and I can walk to our hearts' content. She loves being outside and she loves getting all the attention from people. We'll go by in the stroller and people actually will walk off their porch to talk to her, telling her what a pretty girl she is. She sits up and, honestly, if any cat could preen, that would be her. I can hear her purring. She just loves to go in her stroller.

She and I were out last night for about a half-hour or so. I made sure to take her by the house with the people who asked about her. They were thrilled to see her; they think it's just the neatest thing that she has her own stroller.

We bought the stroller for her, but it was when she was still living with Mom. That way, Mom could take her out in the yard with her. When Mom was admitted to the nursing home, Muffin was alone in the apartment for a couple weeks. I went up to visit with her twice a day and she and I would walk around the apartment complex so she could still go outside. Linda, check Foster and Smith.....that's where we got it. Rick easily put it together when it came. It's nice. We keep it back here in the computer room; she hops in to take her afternoon nap; in fact, she's in it right now, all sacked-out. I keep a few fluffy blankets inside to keep it comfy for her. The other cats (Tabby, esp) will jump in, but when Muffin is ready for her nap, she lets Tabby know it and Tabby will usually leave, so Muffin can get inside.

We go over to my sister once or twice a week during the summer, so she can go for a nice walk.

I am debating on leash training mine. Our older, now deceased cats loved leash walking.
I don't want them loving it where they try and sneak out when we go out.

OMG I'm so happy to find someone else walks their cat in a stroller!!!! I take Luna for walks in her stroller all the time. I only ever meet up with people pushing small dogs.
