Cat fit or seizure

My cat Jeff  4years, had a seizure lasting a few seconds then snapped out of it he had one about 6 months ago also. What could this be? Anyone had any experience with this I know the vet would want to do expensive tests so am avoiding him.

Well, you need to know what the condition is in order to treat it, and I would think that would require prescription medication, so the vet is probably your best bet.  Have you looked into Care Credit?
