Do you believe your cats will go to heaven???

Do you think this? I believe they do, although many ppl say they won't. If you don't think they do, where do they go? Or do you believe in Heaven? It's not a Christian thing, or a religious thing, just a matter of if your pets are going to the same place you are..... What are your opinions on this? I am going to go to bed now, cuz it's late, and I'm tired, but I will try to post more on this tomorrow or the next day....

I don't believe there's a heaven or hell.

But I do belive in the after life, and if you were good on earth you will come back as something nice but if not you will come back as something horrid.

Just my view on life.

My kitten will definately go to heaven. He already looks like an angel minus the wings... though he can be a bit of a devil sometimes. He's really a good cat when it comes down to it though .

I think heaven is a word for another dimension where we go after we die. A place of light and love,where there is no pain or suffering. So I do want to believe my cats (and all animals for that matter) will go to heaven.

things will have cats in heaven (mine included) because Heaven is perfect. However, I don't believe animals get there through salvation the way people do. Animals have souls but aren't made in the "image and likeness of God" Only humans do. We possess the spirit of God. Animals have God-given instincts, therefore they cannot conciously committ acts of "sin" against God. They don't go to Heaven or Hell because of a committment (or lack of) to Christ, rather just the fact that God MADE them.

Yes, I do, and I hold to that belief that I may see them again. It is comforting to me to believe their pain is gone and their souls are happy there.

I respect everyone's opinion...but I BELIEVE that my cats will go to Heaven. God created all living things. Even though we are inferer (sp?) to animals, I still believe that all animals go to heaven.

Well, I don't believe in "heaven" but I do believe that there is an afterlife of sorts, and animals are definitely there. For lack of a better phrase, I believe in the Rainbow Bridge (even though I know it is just a poem that someone wrote to try to comfort others....)

For adult humans, i'm a great believer in heaven and hell.


However i do strongly believe all children and animals go to heaven.

I believe that animals don't have souls that can be saved like humans, like someone else said. But I do believe that animals go to heaven....I read something somewhere that animals don't, but I don't believe that. Anyways, that's just my opinion.

If anyone deserves heaven it's the animals!!!!!! Humans definately need to work on being let in that door!!

I don't actually believe in "heaven" - reincarnation has always made more sense to me. I think that there is some kind of afterlife, even if it's a sort of limbo where souls are suspended for eternity (the nuns and priests who taught me catechism are probably rolling over in their graves right now - sorry!), and that animals have souls just like humans do, so I answered yes.

When you are dead you are dead. There is no comming back, not for cats, dogs or us.

People believe in heaven when they are affraid of death so they give themselves comfort in the fact that they are going somwhere "better" when they die.

Does a spider go to "spider heaven" when you step on it? Course not, you don't even think about that. But why not? They are as important to this world as you, they were here longer even...think about it.

I am another believer in reincarnation, after a period of rest and recovery from this lifetime. And I do believe it is for all life, not just humans.

I hope that I am fortunate enough to encounter some of the same souls in the next lifetime as sit beside me and purr in this lifetime. They are noble, funny, wonderful beings and I love them without limits.

My 11 wk old kitten went to heaven today. It had something bad sticking out where he normally poops and he was put to sleep.

Of course, my baby will go to heaven! She's already an in my book!

I personally believe in Heaven and I KNOW when I die and go to Heaven, all of my cats will come running, rub against my legs and/or jump into my arms - same with family members & friends who have passed on- they will be there to greet us all as we enter Heaven.

I do believe in heaven . How ever the bible don't say anything about animals going to heaven . So I voted I don't know . I hope they do and then maybe not . But I believe the animals go in to a better place , what kind a place I don't know but for sure a better place .

Wasn't the Garden of Eden a Heaven on Earth? And it was FULL of animals! Animals don't know sin, that is how they were made.
