Hi Everyone

Let;;s share any independence day pics we have! Our family had a gathering, and I was able to get some cool Fireworks shots.






AND MY FAVORITE!! Looks like pure gold!

That 4th pic down is very cool!  It looks like a flag blowing in the wind!  The top one looks like a flower.  

I tried taking pictures of our fireworks with my new phone.  Most looked like balls of light.

I have a fireworks setting on my phone, the key is you need to click the button about three seconds before it explodes in the air.. because the shutter is open wide and the ISO is set so high, it takes a few seconds before it actually shoots

Hmm.  This phone is so new to me; I'm going to have to play around with it more when I have time.  I was at a little get together today trying to take pictures of my friend's kids and because there was so much back light everyone looks like a shadow.  The flash only helped so much.

Flash is definitely not going to be used for fireworks. Other than thatr, I would just read the instruction manul
