Anniversary of my BJ going to Rainbow Bridge

Ever since we lost our precious BJ on July 4, this has been my least favorite holiday. Can't believe it's 10 years already! BJ was always my very special baby and losing him at the age of 13 was so heartbreaking. Tony worshipped the ground BJ walked on and cried for days. But after we lost BJ, Angel came into our life. She, I believe, was his last present to us. Her full name is "BJ's Angel".

Anyway, my love to BJ at Rainbow Bridge, romping with my Boots and Ali. All of our much loved kitties. It's so sad that their time here with us is so relatively short, but each day we have them in our lives is very special.

I am sorry for your loss.  Our furkids are never with us long enough.  They each have their own special places in our hearts forever.  Hugs to you on this difficult day.

I know exactly how you feel with the holiday being a reminder and opening up old wounds.   Growing up as a kid the 4th was always my favorite holiday.  But since my dad passed on July 5th, the holiday  no longer has that special appeal it once did.

What a wonderful tribute to a wonderful cat! You have kept him alive in your heart for 10 years, and have honored his memory by sharing your love with another.
