My husband just had to buy this for the girls! He loves to spoil them!

They like to lick the faucets so he thought they would like this.
They love it!

Does anybody else have a Drinkwell fountain?

My parents had a cat who would have liked that. He would only drink moving water so he'd bite the edge of the bowl and lift it and drop it so the water would swish back and forth.

I have a drinkwell just like yours

Mabel loves to drink from the sink... and still does even though she has a fountain. Both cats do seem to like the running water though...

My only complaint.. is that hard water/minerals can form on the plastic and it's hard to scrub off.

I forgot that when I was in Chicago I had one of those trickling fountains that you use to relax and Toes and Tailer thought it was their new water dish so I couldn't put the stuff in the water that keeps it from mineralizing on the fountain equipment. I had to fill it every day.

I have been putting in Brita filtered water so I hope that doesn't happen to ours.

You might be okay.. I have a water softener here but it seems like I can see a discoloration line where the water line is. Whats a little discoloration if your cats love it

We've got a Petmate Freshflow like Momofmany, and all of ours just love it. Best thing for getting them to drink more water.

Here's Mozart enjoying his fountain.

Yeah, they seem to be drinking more water.

It's cute to hear/see them drink right off the stream coming out.

I was just looking at one on the petsmart web page. Em loves drinking out of the tap. I leave it trickling for him (water is included in the rent
) I would rather have the fountain.

Nice!

I bought one of those for my cats a couple of weeks ago, and they love it! We have really hard water, and the instructions say to use distilled water if your water is really hard, so the buildup doesn't interfere with the function of the fountain.

If you have buildup in the bowl portion, sometimes soaking it with vinegar before you wash it will help remove that.

Cool I think I will see about getting the boys one of those.making mental note...drinkwell for the boys
The girls said that Oscar and Sammycat should have one!

It says it may take a while for some cats to get used to, but the girls liked it right away.

Tuxedokitties - we have hard water here as well. I am trying to use filtered Brita water only. But I will definalty use vinegar if needed! Don't want the kitties fountain to break!
