About a year ago I knew she was losing weight. The vet came by with good advice. But we lost her December 2013. She loved the sun and she liked to bite my yellow flip-flops. People here were very helpful when the time came. It is still hard to go down the cat food isle. I tried all kinds of food to coax her appetite.

I'm so sorry for your loss.
I remember your posts about Honey and how painful it was to say goodbye. Honey touched your heart in such a way that she will be always be loved and remembered.

The pain is like an ocean, the waves come crashing in  at times, huge and relentless. I lost my Chrissy in Dec. of 2012, and I cried the other day as I was cleaning her grave, I knew she would love to be laying there in the sun and watching me. Somehow we muddle through life, wanting what we can't have but knowing in our hearts that we have to embrace what time we have here on this earth and enjoy what we do have. One day your heart will accept the love of another little soul, most of the time we have nothing to do with choosing of that time, it just happens. Your heart will mend in time, and although you will never be the same as before, grief will find a new life order for you. Bless you for having the capacity to love so much to hurt so bad. Know you are not alone and please reach out to others who can share your pain. RIP beautiful Honey!

My condolences. Honey lives on in your heart and memories, and the feeling of acute loss lessens with time, but that doesn't mean you'll stop missing her. After all, she was - and is - an important part of your life. RIP, Honey. :rbheart:
