Unfortunately I was allowing one of my cats ( a two yr old & she is spayed), to eat temptations treats as her main food source. The packet states that it is safe to do that. Thankfully I was reading about treats on the internet and found many horror stories concerning these treats. I immediately threw them out. The only physical problem I have noticed is that she is a little more skittish and scared of familiar things. Otherwise she still runs & plays like normal. The other problem is getting her to eat. I have tried so many dry & wet foods, most to no avail. I have to find something she will eat on a fairly consistent basis.any help or suggestions is appreciated. You can leave out all of the "how stupid can you be " remarks. I feel bad enough already!

I would try crumbling some of the treats on top of the food you want him to eat, and bury some inside the food.  I use Temptations this way!

Chloe knows what she's talking about! I transitioned an adopted, dry food addict to wet food this way.

I put a few handfuls of Temptations in a freezer baggie, press out all the air, and then use a smooth bottom, meat tenderizer/pounder and bam, bam, bam on a concrete floor until I have a fine powder. Then I pour the Temptations powder into a jar or cheese shaker.

I first offer wet food straight up. If he turns his nose up then I sprinkle Temptations on top.

You may have to mix a higher ratio of Temptations in the beginning and slowly reduce as she begins to recognize her new food as "real food". For a cat, it's always about smell, sometimes texture, and then taste.
