Question of the Day - Thursday July 3

Good morning and happy Thursday everyone


Today's question is

What is your favorite and least favorite fruit ?

Favorite - hmmm, this is hard to choose I like so many But if I had to choose I would say peaches :love:

Least - easy one pears :disa: It's not the taste I dislike but that gritty texture

Favorite: cranberries
Least favorite: bananas

Love bananas and oranges.

Do not love tomato (if it's a fruit -- it's classification is still debated  ) or papaya.

I dearly love nectarines, peaches, and plums.

I don't think there's a fruit that I don't like.

My favourite would be pink grapefruit or peaches (although I bought peaches and went to eat one last night and it was nasty so I am turned off those for now).

My least favourite is bananas. I force myself to eat them while pregnant but otherwise I can't eat them unless they are in something (like banana bread).

love all fruits, I can't pick one, but I can say, I am not a fan of Pineapples

Love - plums, strawberries, nectarines, pineapple


cherries = yucky.

persimmon is fav fruit

apple is least favorite

but I like any fruit if it's ripe

Least favorite: cherries

Most favorite: Apples!!

My fav's would be bananas and necs, my least fav  are apples of any kind but if you put them in a pie, I'll eat it

Favourites: Avocadoes ( l think they're fruits), or bananas

Dislike: Blueberries, blech!

That is one of the few foods that I couldn't stand as a child and still don't like as an adult.  I've tried to tell people that I don't like the gritty texture and people look at me like I'm nuts.

I love tomatoes, cherries, plums, and pink grapefruit.  That reminds me, I need to raid the neighbor's kumquat tree for "payment" for cutting his grass.

My husband hates pears. He says they taste like biting into sand. I love them.

it's hard for me to pick a favorite fruit, or to think of a fruit i don't like.

i can only think of one fruit i don't like......pomegranates.

my favorite fruit would be......apples, if they're raw. if cooked/baked, my favorite would be blueberries.

i do bake with fruit quite often.

A favorite is so hard to pick!  Especially depending on how you use them.  Gosh....I'll say cherries.  Raspberries are a close second; especially fresh or in pie!  But cherries on a cheesecake or fresh.  This time of year we are a fruit crazy house...I bought peaches, nectarines, apples, bananas, grapes, strawberries and blueberries in the last 2 weeks.  Oh and watermelon. I really need my own orchard.  And some plums. 

I think my least favorite are apricots.  I like them sometimes though.

I love cherries. My in laws have 3 HUGE cherry trees in their yard and I love picking them. They didn't grow this year though because of the awful winter we had.   They have blackberries, pears, apples and rhubarb too.

Favourite: Strawberries, Blueberries, Raspberries, Blackberries, Watermelon, Dragonfruit, Kiwi, Bananas.

 

Least Favourite: Oranges, Cherries, Peaches, Pineapple. 

Though I will like well grown Blood Oranges or Tangerines, but not regular oranges. And the problem with peaches is that it is such a hit and miss, often I seem to get them when they are flavourless and grainy/chalky, or very mushy. Yuck. No matter how hard I try or research, I am constantly unlucky. So rarely ever go out and get them. Otherwise, I do like the flavour of peach in juices or candies - just don't like eating actual peaches.
 

Altogether never liked cherries, flavour and all.

And I really hate pineapple! UGGGHH PINEAPPLE   Even just looking at it makes me go bleeehh.

How could you! We cannot be friends anymore! 

I love putting pineapples on my pizza. 

My favorites are watermelon and strawberries.

My least favorite is apricots, it's a texture thing, the same for plums.

Tomato is definitely a fruit as is avocado.
