My name is Tammy and my loving cat is Squeekers. He's a male American short hair. He was found under stairs leading to someone's front door. He shouldn't have been away from his Mama yet. He was only 4 or 5 was and his Mama abandoned him. So I had to take him! I couldn't let him die!He couldn't meow right he could only squeak. Therefore his name. I fed him with an eyedropper... And 6yrs later, my boyfriend and I can't imagine our lives without him!

I have a question.... My Squeekers will not allow me to close any doors in my place. Including the bathroom door!! If you close one he cries and claws at the door. So of course I never close one I let him go wherever he wants. Anybody else go through this? He's an indoor cat too. He won't go outside thankfully!!

Yes, closed doors are a cat's nemesis. Such is life with cats, you have said goodbye to privacy.

l never close doors either. My older cat follows me everywhere, the other two pick their places and moments.

Thanks so much! At least I know its normal. He's also has gotten quite voiceful in the last year! It's actually hysterical! He sure does let my fiancé and I know when he is displeased! He'll "talk" back and forth with me! I'll say "what Squeekers?" And he'll meow back. I can do that 100 times and he'll keep answering back!! I love him!
