Sorry everyone i know i ask alot of questions please forgive me i just dont know anything about cats and i want the cat i found to live long and be comfortable. I never had any luck with pets. Since my mom wont let me keep it in the house im going to build a cat house for it. For now, i know ive said this millions of times, i kept a box out side with towels food and water and a towel covering teh opening so it wont get cold inside but the cat wont stay in it and it still keeps wanting to come in my house cause it keeps scratching the door. And after a while it runs off somewhere, im afraid it just doesnt know wahts good for it. So do you think its ok to trap it in teh box for the night so it wont get out, but then i feel bad again cause it keeps meowing to come out ahhhh i just dont know waht do to, im sorry i just need alot of advice because i check the cat every morning to see if its sick or anything and anything i find i just get paranoid.

The cat will by nature find a safe and warm place to hole up. You cannot make it stay somewhere it is not comfortable staying, and closing it up in a box is NOT a good idea. If your mother won't allow you to keep it inside- then you best just feed it and see it has fresh water and let it go about trying to survive on its own. I do not know how old you are, but your mother's word is more than likely law in your home. If you have a porch where the cat can get underneath, and out of the weather, then putting an old blanket or some straw under there will help it along. You could also call an animal rescue group in your area and tell them about this kitten, or call a few vets and ask if there is a crazy cat person in the area that can rescue this cat. But please, don't put it inside of a box if it is outside, that is not fair for it, and leaves it very vulnerable to attacks by predators.
