Has anyone checked out the lunar eclipse tonight? Ken and I just went out with the telescope and looked at the moon about half way covered. Pretty cool

We have rain and heavy cloud cover
We happened to go outside at the peak, and it was pretty cool! Definitely turned the moon blood red. Spooky.

I watched the whole thing pretty much from start to finish while on a motorcycle ride tonight. *sigh....I love astronomy.....

I saw it through my kitchen window.
I saw it pretty good. We have almost the full moon....I guess everyone does eh? I'm a little stupid at times so forgive me
Anyways, I got home from work that night and wanted to take some pics of it, but 1. I couldn't get the digital camera to work and 2. I couldn't find the instruction booklet for it, so I didn't get any pics. I never tried with a regular camera/film, b/c someone told me you have to have special film to take pictures at night time. I might try it sometime, when the northern lights are awesome....in the middle of winter when it's like -30c is when they are often good!
