I'm about halfway through Mr. Murder by Dean Koontz, it's excellent so far. I think the best one he's written (that i've read) is False Memory

Lessee, for fun I'm reading a Jack Whyte historical-fantasy, Uther, a "biography" of King Arthur's father.
Still working on "How Few Remain" by Turtledove - haven't had much spare time lately to devote to reading.
Also started "The Ten Commandments of Dating" this week - super quick read! I recently dipped my toes back in the dating pool, and I want to make sure I don't repeat any of my past mistakes.

I just finished "John Wayne, the Man Behind the Myth", by Michael Munn. Mr. Munn had unprecedented access to people who knew John Wayne and worked with him, as well as having personal chats with him. The only bad thing about the book - no pictures. I love John Wayne movies, even the awful "B" Westerns.

I really liked Skeet in that book.

My two favorites of his are Twilight Eyes and Watchers.

"The Taking" isn't out here yet. I've been rereading Rita Mae Brown's "Mrs. Murphy" series. I love the animal conversations.

Just finished "Don't Call Us Molls". Its about the women of the Dillinger gang. Reams have been written about the gangsters but, not much about the women who lived with them.

Most of the women were targeted by J. Edgar Hoover and prosecuted for harboring a fugitive. This was a ploy to get them to inform on the gangsters and most of the gals did do prison time for it.

After them demise of most of the gang, some of the women went on the vaudeville circuit, to support themselves.

Last week I reread all the Mrs. Murphy mysteries by Rita Mae Brown, and now I'm working my way through all the Alex Delaware books by J. Kellerman for the umpteenth time. I've promised myself that I won't buy any new books for at least a month - the house is overflowing with books.

I'm not sure if I accept his theories, but his books are fascinating!
