Anyone with a PC please check this page for me, tell me if the top picture is loading. And if you can, take a screen shot of the page for me please, whether photo loads or not?

It loads on my phone, and in Firefox, but not in Safari on my mac.

Please and thank you! (it's my dad's website, BTW)

Doesn't load in any of my browsers. I tried a direct link to the image and got a 404 instead.

that's the photo! I was having trouble getting it up. After my update, I got it.. but the background is funky. A screen shot would be great if you could!

The blue background is supposed to extend to the top of the page- like the other pages on the site. I am not good with coding and using a freebie website builder

Uh oh. It's all black now. lol. I've downloaded the page source and I'll poke around and see if I can fix it.

EDIT: Actually I think I grabbed the wrong one. I'll just wait for you to revert it.

I didn't touch it since the last update, before you took that screenie! I don't understand what happened :(

give me a few to figure this out. So annoying

I don't get it. I tried putting the original coding back up, before my update, and its not doing anything. I'm wondering if its the website host?

Looking at the source file, all of the images are being sourced from your local computer on the page as it is now (all black, dead/blank images, black text). Can you do a mass find and replace on the file:///Macintosh HD... etc, etc. and replace it with the image folder on the host?

Refresh the page and the source page.. I don't see any files linked from my computer? just the root link to the folders on the server?

I don't understand, it was working fine, I leave for dinner and ocme back and its dead! This is why I refuse to become a web designer

Hmm, I refreshed it and checked the source again and it's still showing all the desktop sources. Can you try renaming the page, uploading it, and linking it to us? Maybe it's just not refreshing.

Do you just copy the layout from page to page? What if you just copy an entire page (like the About page) and replace all the code below
Code:
 <div style="background: transparent url(About_WVRR_files/backgroundimage_1.jpg) no-repeat scroll center center; width: 700px; ">
with the code of the Friends' Layouts page? You may be able to save some headaches by having a root "images" folder for all the images to go in since it doesn't look like the site as a whole is incredibly image-heavy. You can just link back to them using "../images/backgroundimage_1.jpg" instead of having a copy of the same images that are used on every page in each folder. At least I prefer doing it that way - maybe it's just a comfortable habit for me. In this case, you can still use that same path and just put "../" in front of the "backgroundimage_1.jpg".

If it works on the other pages and they're all set up the same way, I don't see anything wrong with just copying and pasting it all and replacing the main content. But I'm not a web designer or programmer, lol.
