Woohoo go Cheddar! I bought one of those little hole-houses for Nel when she was a kitten too, she loved it! Looks like he is enjoying himself

AWwwww! He is getting so big, but still a cute little punk'n!

Funny, Angel has that same squeaky mousy on a string toy. I laugh because instead of a tail, there are feathers there, so I call it the "birdie, mousy."

What a honey!!!
Gorgeous photos of Cheddar honing his cat skills.  He is certainly growing but isn't loosing any of his fluffy kitten cuteness.  Thank you for this latest update.

I'm guessing Cheddar will do his best to keep reminding you.
That's for sure! :-)

He's awesome. I am so happy that I got thrust into cat ownership.

If Cheddar is anything like Dora and Olivia then yes he will keep reminding you. My two girls are very good hunters I have found out so they like to bring me the toy mice I got for them. So this morning when I got up I found the two kittens asleep at the foot of my bed along with 4 toy mice.

LoL,  just you wait till you wake up to real mice as well as the cats.
(Oh yes, it has happened to me and my boy is strictly indoor).

I can assume that me having to deal with the occasional moth or bug that somehow gets in will now be in the past

That is fairly safe, though kitties can be particular about which ones they want to go for.  Mouse prefers flying beasties but isn't too proficient at catching them, big spiders on the other hand he can catch but doesn't always bother.  Now live mice on the other hand are much prized and he will spend long hours just waiting for one of them to show a whisker.
He's rubbish at catching them and has a tendency to pat them on the head (no claws drawn) but due to his persistent chasing he did manage to bring one poor litte X mouse to my bed one night.   Beware warm, furry gifts.
