My cat has no sign in this past days that she will give birth. Then an hour ago I noticed something with her. Then there were to liteers, both are dead. Is it possible that the other litters may live? She is on the 7th week of prefnancy. So sad.

No kitten survived. I was sad, but its ok since the mother seems to be okay. I suspected two reasons why she give birth 2 weeks earlier. One is because i carry her a lot. May be the kittens in the belly died because of too much carrying. 2nd is the kitten we have who always tried to get milk from my pregnant cat.. Before she gave birth today, the kitten pushes a lot on the mother's belly trying to have some milk.

So sad :(.

Usually normal things like being carried and having another cat push on their belly do not cause miscarriages/stillbirths. The body is meant to protect the babies; if it was so easy for them to be hurt/killed there would be no stray cats ;). It usually takes very bad trauma to cause a miscarriage.

I would more suspect that something was wrong with this litter---maybe genetic problems, maybe a blood type problem, maybe the mother cat is sick. I would have your vet take a look at her, run some tests if possible.

Agree with Willowy.   None of the carrying or  nursing on could provoce a miscarriage.

To your question:  yes it is possible she has someone left inside, alive, and with a little luck, may deliver it in its proper time, in 3 weeks.

But lets not guess, best is you visit a vet with her, for a check up everything is OK - and to see if there is one more - alive?   Dead??

If alive, everything is ok, but if dead, let the vet worry.

Good luck!   @Arjay Alba

Thank you for your reply. She littered three kittens.. All dead. I remember last week she had a problem. She ate very little and i worried a lot. If i remember, 3days she ate very few. Could it contribute to the death of the kitten? I will brint her to the vet tomorow.

Not that she ate little a couple of days, not by itself.  But she had probably some virus infection at this time.  Yeah, I guess it was this took them.

But we cant know for sure.

Please, do spay her soon now, so you or she dont need to experience anything such again.

Good luck!
