I have had no problems with the canned Blue Healthy Gourmet but would not touch ANY dry Blue food these days because there is still something going on with the dry food, more dogs than cats but cats too.  No point in risking it.  I would not even be using the canned Blue except that it was donated by one of our clients. I feed other things as well just in case there is too much or too little of something in it.  It used to be a great food, but since it was sold there have been problems.  A lot of the complaints cannot be positively tied to Blue, but a lot of them CAN.  Check for yourself and make your own decisions.  Just watch your cat closely if you do use it, and if anything changes for the negative, stop it immediately, don't wait and wonder.

Is there any other foods that you would recommend? And can cats have dry food? Thanks

Personally, I like Halo Grain Free if you are using a dry food, but would not recommend dry food only. One of our good clients uses Merrick grain free as her dry food and has had no problems whatsoever.   Here is whatshe likes:

We also feed wet food twice daily and always offer a variety, mainly because most cats will turn their nose up at food that is bad in some way even if it smells fine to us, unless it's the only thing offered, so we want to give them that choice.  If they don't eat something, I throw it out.

I'm sure one of the Nutrition Advisors will be along soon to answer your questions more completely.
